Juanita Laverty is the pastor of Hanover Mennonite Church and brings gifts in pastoral care, preaching, community building, and working with people to find common ground. She has enjoyed serving the congregation since 2007 and was ordained in 2009. Juanita is a graduate of Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary with a Master of Divinity. She appreciates the array of gifts in this congregation, but especially finds blessing in how the people share with each other in intergenerational relationships, engage thoughtfully in discussions of faith and purposeful living, and sing beautifully in four part harmony! Taking long walks is one of Juanita’s favourite restorative activities, as well as spending time with friends and family. Juanita is married to Dave Sararus and they have two children.
